I love this breed of chicken for so many reasons. First, they are auto sexing so when they hatch you know which ones are males and which ones are females. Second, they have amazing temperaments, they are very friendly, calm and easy going. Third, they are a dual purpose bird, meaning they are great for providing eggs but also because of their size they are a good meat bird.
We will have chicks later this spring.
