Our dairy goats opened up a whole new world to me. They will clear out an overgrown area full of poison ivy and turn it into milk!
Sunshine is our herd Queen. She is a La Mancha and an amazing milker. I have given up trying to dry her up this year and have accepted I am just going to be milking for a while. These were her twins Luna and Ray born July 2025.
Violet is a new addition that I am very excited about. She is also a La Mancha and I think she is going to be an amazing goat. I fell head over heels for her and love having her here at the farm.
Zephyr is our other new addition. He is also a La Mancha and will be our breeding buck when he grows up. He has such a fun personality and we are really enjoying him.
Clover is my beautiful Nubian. I say we go to the extremes with our goats. The La Mancha have no ears then we have Clover with the really long ears. She is a mess and in typical Nubian style is very vocal and often times you will think the sky is falling by the way she is hollering. Bucee is her baby. He was our first kid born on the farm. He is our weathered buck now.
